How To Lose 10 Pounds By The 4th of July! |

Most everyone is going to a pool party, enjoying a barbecue, or going on a beach vacation here in the next month...and let's be honest - we can all stand to lose a pound or two around the middle, right? Here are a few quick tips to help you shed a few extra pounds for your "day at the beach"...
1. Cut soda out of your diet - whether it is the sugar or just the empty calories...there is really valuable reason to have soda in your diet. This cut alone will save most people 5 pounds alone in the coming weeks. Not only cut it out, but replace it with water and you will feel better too.
2. Add one day of cardio to your fitness training regime - maybe you don't do any cardio, maybe you already walk 3 times per week. Whatever the case, add one more day - even if it is only a 20 minute routine, the extra calories burned will charge your workout to the next level.
3. Cut (or at least limit) dairy from your diet - many people believe this is where they get their protein, but the fact is you get more fat or sugars from dairy than you do protein. Leave it to the chicken, turkey, and tuna to give you protein...dairy only gives you extra pounds on your butt!
4. Cut alcohol - no matter how much of a consumer of alcohol you are...a couple each night, a casual weekend drinker...you can (if you put your mind to it) cut alcohol out for the next month! You will feel better in the morning, you will be more productive, and not only will you save calories consumed, but you will keep your metabolism up and burn more the next day!
